Information We Collect and Receive

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

We may collect personal data that you choose to provide to us through the site and apps, including, but not limited to, your first and last name, physical address, email address, photographs, or telephone number, such as when you:

  • Fill out a form on the site or information entered in the apps.

  • Attend an event that we have organized;

  • or Communicate with us (for example, on a social media platform or by sending us an email).

IP Addresses

At any point of collection, you will be asked for consent to collect your information or you will be advised of the authority for such collection. We may use your IP address to help prevent fraud, to help diagnose problems with our server, to gather broad demographic information, and to offer you products and services.

When you visit our sites, we also may collect certain information by automated means using technologies such as cookies, non-cookie-based tokens, web server logs, tracking pixels.

Cookies are the files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to identify your browser uniquely or to store information or settings in your browser. Your browser may tell you when you receive certain types of cookies and how to restrict or disable certain cookies. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. Non-cookie-based tokens are encoded URL-based identifiers that track email click-thru activity or time-sensitive password reset keys and will work in scenarios where cookies are disabled, or a session has not been initiated.

IP Addresses

Your browser settings may allow you to transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to websites and online services you visit. Like many other websites and online services, we do not currently process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals from your browser or to other mechanisms that enable choice. Both we and others (such as our service providers) may collect personal data about our visitors’ online activities over time and across third-party websites.

We also use third-party web analytic services on our site, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Smartlook. The service providers that administer those services may use cookies and web beacons to help us analyze how users use the site. The information collected by the cookies and web beacons (including your IP address) is available to the service providers, which use the information to evaluate your use of the site.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.

Data Transfers

We use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, and we do everything we can to protect user information offline. Unfortunately, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of the information that you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

How Long We Keep Information

The time period for which we keep personal data depends on the purpose for which we collected it. In all cases, we keep it for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it. We will then delete the personal data, unless we are legally required to retain it or if we need to retain it in order to comply with our legal obligations (for example, for tax and accounting purposes).

Subject to any applicable legal requirements, we typically retain personal data as follows:

  • Personal data you provide to us through our site and our apps: we keep this personal data for as long as necessary in order to respond to your request, and for a short further period in case you send us further requests.

Note to California Residents

If you live in the State of California, under the California Civil Code, you have the right to request that companies who conduct business in California provide you with a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed Personal Information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes.

Alternatively, the law provides that if a company has a Privacy Policy that gives either an opt-out (often referred to as “unsubscribe”) or opt-in choice for use of your Personal Information by third parties (such as advertisers) for marketing purposes, that the company may instead provide you with information on how to exercise your disclosure choice options.

This Site qualifies for the alternative option; it has a comprehensive Privacy Policy and provides you with details on how you may either opt-out or opt-in to the use of your Personal Information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain or disclose a list of the third parties that received your Personal Information for marketing purposes during the preceding year.

If you are a California resident and want to request information about how to exercise your third party disclosure choices, you must send a request by email or as described in the “Contact Us” section below with a preference on how our response to your request should be sent (email or postal mail).

All requests sent via email must be labeled “Your California Privacy Rights” on the email subject line and clearly stated on the actual request. For all requests, please include your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. Please include your zip code for our own recordkeeping.

We do not accept requests via the mail, telephone or by facsimile. We are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or do not have complete information.

Links to Other Sites

Our site may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal data practices or relevant laws. We will post the updated version and indicate at the top of the Privacy Policy when it was most recently updated.
